Dubois Designs
Following discussions at the 2011 Monaco Yacht Show, the fabled team at Dubois Designs has entered a contract with an existing client for the construction of a 100m sloop.
“We are pleased to announce the design contract for a 100m sloop,” says Ed Dubois.
“This will demand a 30 month design programme with construction expected to commence mid 2013 with completion 2016. Further information will be available late 2012.”
She is expected to exist as one the most spectacular private yachts. Her main mast will tower 125 meters above the water. The yacht is designed as an explorer vessel. Much of her volume is dedicated to storage (stowage) space for tenders and equipment. This sailboat holds a maximum draft of 12.8m. She has accommodations for 20 crew in single cabins. There is a unique hard top over the flybridge.
No shipyard has yet to be chosen for the construction, but Josep Juanpere Miret in onboard as the interior designer.
Ed Dubois was recently in the news for establishing a cancer fund for children. Yachts designed by Dubois and his team have swept numerous superyacht awards in the past year.

It’s been said the goal of interior design is to produce a harmonious whole. This unit involves the architecture, function, and visual aspects of the interior that are unified. They are also pleasing to mind and body, and they are appropriate to the activities to be pursued there. at the luxurious Ciragan Palace Kempinski on 5 May, 2012.

Combining a glittering awards ceremony with a gala dinner/dance, the Awards , often dubbed the “Oscars” of the superyacht industry, will be attended by an elite guest list of megayacht owners from around the globe.

Hoping to take advantage of the growing popularity of non-traditional cruising grounds for Mediterranean yacht charters, the €350 million Euro Cyprus Limassol Marina is nearing completion and will be fully-operational in the first half of 2014.
The first yachts set to arrive in March. The commercial area will open its doors to the public in June, 2014.
This is special because a superyacht marina is desperately needed in this area. Both owners and charter guests benefit from the marina.
COMPANY PRESIDENT COMMENTS
Jana Sheeder, President and Owner of SailAway Yacht Charters and 1-800 Yacht Charters is eager to offer a new port of call to her repeat clients.
“This is the first superyacht marina in Cyprus, a country located at the crossroads of three continents,” says Sheeder. “Limassol is a city with international panache, and the marina is located in the heart of this community. The berths are directly attached to adjacent villas, making this an ideal location for a shore-and-sea holiday.”
The marina will have 650 berths. In specific, for vessels up to 115 meters (377 feet) in length.

Presenting the winners of the 2011 ShowBoats Design Yacht Awards. Held at Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida, mega yacht charter vessels beat private yachts for awards in design excellence. This is the second year in a row for such charteryacht success.
Superyacht owners and creative talents attended the event. They watched the luxury charter sailboat TWIZZLE, win. Her category was Recreational Area for Guest Use and Interior Design categories. Justin Redman of the design team at Redman Whiteley Dixon accepted the Neptune award for TWIZZLE.
Other charter yachts receiving honors included:
Motor yacht EXUMA received an Environmental Protection Award. She is 264 feet long, and was built by the Perini Navi Group and Picchiotti. Exuma has exterior design by Vitruvius Ltd and naval architect Philippe Briand,
