The inaugural yacht awards ceremony took place in October at the exclusive Mar A Lago Club. The facility is Donald Trump’s private club in Palm Beach, Florida. It was sponsored by ShowBoats International. It began with a two-day Superyacht Design Symposium. On the 3rd day, 350 guests enjoyed an evening of cocktails. The evening also featured a gala dinner and an awards ceremony honoring the yachting industry’s creative talents. Those talents included architects, designers, stylists, craftsmen, and innovators in yacht technologies.
ShowBoats Design Awards came about as a former part of the Boat International Media World Superyacht Awards. They introduced a number of new categories. The jury included 4 superyacht owners, 2 naval architects, a senior yacht captain, an experienced yacht chef, and six design professionals with no links to the industry. The awards resulted from more than 200 yacht nominations.

The next yacht award event is the 2011 World Superyacht Awards, and it will be hosted by the editors of Boat International Media. The awards honor the finest new vessels delivered to their owners in the past twelve months. The award presented is The Neptune Award, or the “Oscar” of the megayacht industry.
The ceremony is scheduled for May 7, 2011, and it is attended by yacht owners from around the globe. Others who attend are influential players in the boating business.
62 finalists are in contention to receive a coveted Neptune Trophy, including the 56-meter Panthalassa and the 60-meter MARY JEAN II.

Welcome, April. Great news. Open charter dates on award-winning CMN yacht CLOUD 9 are nearly sold out for the 2011 summer Mediterranean yacht charter season.
With Indian Ocean yacht charters behind her, the yacht’s owner is keen to fill the last remaining calendar weeks for summer.
In July, the yacht is in Naples, Italy. Open dates remain between July 12 and 22, 2011
She moves to Croatia in August, with available dates from August 16 in the area of Split, to September 7 in Athens, Greece. Clients travel anywhere in Croatia and Greece during this period – with no delivery fees.
The weekly rental rate in July and August is € 357,000, plus all expenses.

We are pleased to announce CMN Yacht CLOUD 9 received two trophies during the recent ShowBoats Design Awards.
The 60-meter superyacht and her designer Andrew Winch took two trophies. The first, the award for Best Exterior Design & Styling Award – Motor Yachts. The second, for Best Interior Recreational Area.

Incredible superyacht Cloud 9 is now named ODYSSEY.
One of the yachts available for a Monaco Grand Prix Yacht charter this year is the spectacular and elegant superyacht, Cloud 9.
One of the largest yachts in its fleet, Cloud 9 can comfortably accommodate up to 12 yacht charter guests. She has a master full beam duplex suite complete with office, his and her bathrooms, and separate dressing rooms.
She also features a VIP cabin on the bridge deck which has its own private balcony where guests can relax.
In addition, stairs lead up to a raised private observation lounge which allows guests panoramic views of the sea ahead.
