American superyacht builder, Trinity Yachts has launched their first yacht of 2012, the 49.90 meter motor yacht TSUMAT. The yacht features an interior by Dutch designer René van der Velden.
Fans of the Trinity line of luxury yachts are hopeful to see this new yacht enter the charter market by summer, 2012.

Just in time for the winter rental season, Trinity yacht charter vessel Motoryacht CARPE DIEM has added a new toy to her watersport equipment list. That toy is a unique “Jetovator.”
Be warned! This toy is for designed strictly for adrenaline junkies!
The rider can also redirect the water thrust of the two front nozzles in order to maneuver the Jetovator in all directions (read between the lines – spin wildly in the air). It should be noted that the Jetovator can go vertical straight up to a dizzying 20-25 feet at speeds of up to 25 mph. Finally, for a wetter experience, you can take a nose-dive and actually cruise underwater (to approximately 4-5 feet deep).
Luxury motor yacht CARPE DIEM 191 sleeps 10 to 12 guests. Her accommodations feature, for instance, a full-beam master stateroom on the main deck, four double guest staterooms, and a convertible gym on the lower deck. Weekly charter rates begin at $395,000 per week, plus all expenses.

Every year, two annual events make a visit to the city of Monte Carlo a must for yacht charter clientele – the Monaco Grand Prix and the Monaco Yacht Show. With the Grand Prix a distant image in our rearview mirrors, focus turns to the yacht show.
What makes this show truly unique is the number of new yachts on hand. About 40 of the newest superyachts delivered in the past 12 months will be on exhibit.

The show is open daily. In specific, from 10am to 6.30pm. It takes place at Port Hercules, Boulevard Albert 1er, in the Principality of Monaco. The main entrance to the show is the Darse Sud entrance. There are other entry points at the Chicane and Parvis Sud. General admission tickets are available at the entrances for €65 per day.

Whoo-hoo! The yacht’s representative contacted us to announce newly reduced rates. These are for the popular 191-foot motor yacht CARPE DIEM. The rates are for the remainder of the spring in the Bahamas. Her weekly rate reduction is from $395,000 per week to now $375,000 per week.
Additionally, the yacht is now accepting advanced reservations for the summer in the Med.
The 191′ (58.23 meter) Trinity yacht CARPE DIEM is well known. People recognize her in the Bahamas. Additionally, Captain Ryan Butterwick has a crew of 11. The past three seasons enjoy affluent travelers onboard. Most yachts of this size are further south in the Caribbean during the winter. For instance, St. Martin and St Barts. She accommodates 12 guests. This acclaimed charter yacht was a finalist for the 2012 World Superyacht Awards for Best Tri-Deck Semi-Displacement Yacht. In addition, she finalized for the 2012 Showboats Design Awards for Best Interior Design.
The yacht has multiple toys and tenders. For instance, a 32 foot (9.75-meter) Boston Whaler with 2 x 275 hp engines (Bahamas/Caribbean only). Also, a 23 foot (7-meter) Novurania Chase tender with 220 horsepower diesel engine and a 19-foot (5.79-meter) Zodiac Proluxe tender with 170 hp jet drive engine. Additionally, 4 Waverunners, 2 SeaBobs, a Jet Surfski, and a Flyboard. Further, waterskis, a wakeboard, and snorkel gear. Lastly, 6 sets of SCUBA gear, a SCUBA compressor, and a custom freestyle pool with jellyfish net.
Carpe Diem includes exercise equipment for active guests. For example, an elliptical machine fold-up treadmill, spin bike, pulley system, and weight bench. Finally, free weights and yoga mats.

I saw an article last week about the top baby names for 2017. The story read. “…if you’re searching for a baby name in 2017, you’ve got a big, exciting decision to make.” Additionally, it continues, “whether you’re after something that’s trendy or traditional, it can be challenging to wade through the thousands of possible names for your future baby.”
I thought to myself, “What about boat names?” Proud new owners of private luxury yacht charter vessels are in mind! Undoubtedly, they experience similar excitement in deciding what to name his or her new floating darlings.
Yes! the Boat Owners Association of the United States (BoatUS), recently released something. It is their annual list of the Top Five Boat Names for 2017. Important to note, they actually list the top ten, but who cares about any top list after the first few winners. (winking emoji)
Unquestionably, each yacht name reveals a little bit about the personality of the yacht’s owner. So, from trendy to traditional, here is this year’s Top Five list of names.
