The excitement of Formula 1 racing comes to Abu Dhabi this month. The best seat in the house is undoubtedly onboard private luxury yacht MOGAMBO.
She is moored at Yas Marina. That is directly adjacent to the race course. The 74m Nobiskrug yacht MOGAMBO is available for an Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Yacht Charter. Her weekly rental rate is $650,000, plus running expenses. With a 5-night minimum reservation required and spanning the actual race dates of November 25-27, it is an exceptional opportunity.
MOGAMBO ON SCENE
Built in 2012, super yacht MOGAMBO looks better than ever, having undergone a partial refit. She’s been fully repainted, and he now has a 7th cabin for added flexibility for charter guests and/or occasional workers. The sundeck Jacuzzi has been significantly enlarged, and the gym has been redesigned.
KEY FEATURES OF MOGAMBO
The yacht’s key features include a master suite on main deck including office and balcony ensuite, as well as an exterior cinema viewing and indoor gym on sun deck. Additionally, this yacht has an elevator from lower deck to bridge deck and a large deck and interior spaces. She also features creature comforts, for instance, a hair/beauty salon and massage room. What makes her specifically stand out are her large floor to ceiling windows. If you desire additional supernumeraries onboard, she has a 7th cabin for occasional workers.
ETIHAD AIRWAYS PARTICIPATION
The 2016 FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX is the Middle East’s biggest international sporting event and the only twilight race on the F1® calendar. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is just one of two Formula 1 circuit races that directly encompass a marina where guests can enjoy the action from the deck of a superyacht. The other is Monaco.
WHAT MAKES GRAND PRIX YACHT CHARTERS FAMOUS?
Grand Prix yacht charter vacations in Monaco are famous for their celebrity parties and many racing sponsors hire yachts to serve as private, secure viewing platforms. Much of the course in the Abu Dhabi race hugs the Yas Marina Circuit and viewing the action from a yacht is unobstructed by bleachers or buildings.
The post-race fireworks extravaganza is truly amazing as well!!!
Danish builder Oceanco unveiled their superyacht project. She is the 120 meter yacht AMARA. In specific, she debuted at the Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS).
THE CONCEPT
The yard continues to push the boundaries of design. Oceanco yacht AMARA showcases the builder’s new “lifestyle philosophy” concept. She places great emphasis on a family-oriented style of living. Sam Sorgiovanni, the yacht’s designer, describes the resort-style concept of the project. Besides this, Mr. Sorgiovanni says, “…the interior and exterior design work in harmony to create a holistic feeling of a relaxed well-appointed resort.”
THE AMENITIES
Our quick review of the yacht’s initial technical specs discovers an interior with a contemporary style. She has natural tones and light woods. Her design is to embrace the ‘resort’ lifestyle. Plenty of wide open spaces and natural light lend to the relaxed atmosphere. She is an amazing superyacht project.
Amara features many onboard amenties. For instance, 2 theatres, 2 Majilis-style areas (Majilis means “a place of sitting” in Arabic), and a climbing wall. In addition, she has an upper deck waterfall that flows into the main deck swimming pool. There is a wellness areas on the lower deck, including Hammam steam bath and a beauty salon. This gorgeous yacht also has a water slide and a circular relaxation pod that suspends over the water. How unique is she!
The LUXURY YACHT CHARTER QUESTION
Oceanco has a solid reputation for building luxury yacht charter superyachts. For example, 56 meter The WELLESLEY and the massive 95 meter Oceanco yacht INDIAN EMPRESS are in their fleet. Briefly, we lick our chops to be the first to offer this. Motoryacht AMARA promises to be popular for our clients.
“As we are seeing with the 70 meter Heesen yacht GALACTICA SUPER NOVA, also a new concept in resort-style yachts, I believe yacht AMARA will enjoy extensive private use by her owner prior to becoming available for charter. The good news is that we continue to witness growth in the experiential travel sector, especially with an emphasis on wellness yacht charter vacations. The demand for superyachts with resort facilities such as spas and beauty salons is strong, and the eventual owner of AMARA will be in a solid position to capitalize on this growing business trend.”
