Perfect yacht for special event charters
There’s nothing “cookie-cutter” about superyacht OKTO. She strikes a distinctive profile, unique among similar-sized yachts. Her lines are elegant, and her metallic-silver superstructure is proportional and balanced. This yacht demonstrates the shipbuilders at IGA understand form can meet function. For example, the angular bow increases efficiency and improves motion comfort.
Indeed, comfort is profoundly important during a charter. Yet space and roominess are equally important. ISA yacht OKTO delights. Large, outdoor social spaces exist on all three exterior decks.
There are 4 decks on 66.40-meter (216 foot) motor yacht OKTO. Andrea Vallicelli designed the exterior. The late Alberto Pinto created the interior design. The yacht accommodates 12 guests in 6 guest cabins. The yacht has twin CATERPILLAR 3512 C engines. The top speed is 18.5 knots. Speed clocks in at 16.5 knots, in maximum comfort.
Pinto’s design emphasizes the osmosis between indoor and outdoor areas. As an illustration, the main deck saloon feels like a lounge, yet seamlessly opens to the cockpit. The fully-retractable circular doors create a unique perception of space. The salon and dining area are bathed in natural light from full-height windows.
Alberto Pinto: More yachts styled by the late interior design master
ISA Yachts CEO, Luciano Bregola proudly states,
“This gem of a yacht is the result of the perfect collaboration of a well-concerted team of experts who designed, engineered, built, and delivered a distinctive yacht that will set new standards in the industry. We are all extremely proud…a magnificent yacht.”
Comfort and space are integral to The Superyacht Experience™. Many modern yachts trade outdoor space to make more room for interior amenities. In contrast, motor yacht OKTO emphasizes the outdoor experience without compromising space and comfort. This yacht is designed for charterers who love the sea and enjoy the outdoors.
The master suite is spacious (full beam). This suite is entered from the main deck, through a private lobby. Features include a private balcony – controlled by the guests at the touch of a button. On other yachts, access to a balcony often requires the assistance of the crew! The balcony comes with a curtain. The curtain keeps the interior spaces cool when the balcony is open to the sea. In-room amenities include his & her bathrooms, with dressing and shower room, steam bath, and rainforest shower. A large dressing room offers a vanity and a small refrigerator to store delicate beauty products.
An office adjoins the master suite. This room can be converted to a sleeping area for small children.
The four guest cabins are located below deck. They can be reached either by stairs or an elevator. Below deck also hosts a massage, beauty, and therapy room. A trained massage therapist/beautician is onboard during charters.
Guest cabins have an asymmetric layout. This ensures additional privacy and noise reduction for charter guests. High ceilings with unique light inserts give this deck a light, spacious ambiance. The VIP cabin (known as the “Red” cabin) is quite large – 26 square meters. The cabin features an ensuite shower and plentiful wardrobe space. The “Blue” and “Orange” guest cabins have double berths, ensuite bathrooms, and walk-in wardrobes.
The fourth cabin is a single. This room is suitable for either a single guest or a child. It is useful for staff. For instance, nanny, security agent, secretary, assistant. The cabin opens to the lobby when used as a guest cabin. The room closes off from the guest areas and opens to the crew area when used for support staff.
There are two outdoor amenities worth special mention. First, there is a helipad on the foredeck, suitable for touch and go. Second, a large 6 meter (20 foot) swimming pool fills with either salt or freshwater. It also heats or cools. The pool also features contra flow current for simulating swimming laps.
